Q: How do I become a coach myself?

Q: How much does it cost to become a coach?

Q: What's  most important when becoming a coach?

A: First thing is first, become an "ACTIVE" coach. Being active will qualify you for your bonuses.   To be active, you must obtain 50PV points per month.  All products have a PV point value and based on which item it is, some have more than others.  Example, a P90X Program is worth 90PV points.  The best way to become active right away without worries is by purchasing the SHAKEOLOGY Home Direct.  This is worth 90PV.  You will become instantly active, receive a great product at an outstanding discount and see great results during your workouts.  This is must for a successful coach - how can you sell a product if you don't take it yourself? 

Q: How much time do I have to dedicate in order to be a coach?

A: The amount of time you spend is completely up to you! You are your own destiny and the outcome of having your own business is completely in your hands.  When I first began, I was spending around an hour a day learning the ins and outs of the business, reaching out to others and trying my best to just get my transformation out to the public.  That wasn't enough, I knew I had to work harder to keep afloat. Now, aabout 8 months later, I spend anywhere from 2-5 hours a day.

Q: Is the Beachbody Coaching Opportunity a scam?

A:  No, not at all, the Beachbody Coaching Opportunity is not a scam. When I first started coaching, I was very skeptical and thought it was a scam, but after doing much research and talking to other successful coaches, I discovered it was a legitimate opportunity.  Again, you are your own destiny and how hard you work and what you put into the business will effect what you will get out of the business. Now, I’m working to be a full-time coach!

Q: Do I have to have a great transformation to be a coach?

A: No! You have to have a passion for helping others and the desire to succeed. The earlier you start, the better!  Don't hold out on this opportunity just because you didn't see a transformation as good as someone else's.  That will not effect your success as a coach! 

Q: What if I’m not very knowledgable about fitness?

A: You don’t have to be a fitness expert to be a Beachbody coach. I wasn’t when I first started.  I knew the common sense stuff.  I’ve done a lot of research over the past year to learn as much as I could about fitness and what it takes to help others reach their desired goals. The best time to start is NOW!  Again, the sooner the better.  Once your involved, you will learn more and more useful tips from other coaches.

Q: Will I get the proper training?

A: Beachbody has an excellent training program called the Game Plan, which you will need to understand when you sign up to coach. I have also created my own training program to provide you the knowledge to be a successful coach. When you become a coach, I will be in contact with you to set up a personal call to discuss everything.  As your sponsor, I will be in constant contact with you and provide you with all the tools necessary to become successful in this business like I have.

Q: Is the Coaching Opportunity open to anyone outside the US?

A: Currently, the Coaching Business is not available to anyone outside the US. However, Beachbody is in the process of opening up the opportunity to other countries, such as Canada. I will make a blog post the moment I hear it has opened up to other countries.

Q: How do I make money being a coach?

A: You make commission on all the products your customers purchase, new/renewal of Club Memberships and Team Bonuses.  Once you build a successful foundation of other coaches, you can receive bonuses based on the amount of sales they are ringing up.  Payday is EVERY WEEK, Thursdays.

A: When I first started P90X, the toughest part of the program was the diet, as it usually is with most. I tried to follow the Nutrition Guide as closely as possible, but there were some foods that were just too pricey to prepare. That’s when I decided to become a Club Member to take advantage of the custom meal plans and recipes that it had to offer.  Making my own meals based on the amount of money I could invest in groceries - and customizing a diet with foods I enjoy eating!  I’m glad I did because it helped my results tremendously!

MY WORKOUT QUESTIONS:

Q: What programs did you use to see the most results?

A: I have completed P90X three times and still continue seeing great results!  I have also completed a round and a half of Insanity, which I am currently hybriding with P90X.  To keep my muscles guessing, I switch up workouts every now and then to Power90 and P90X+ routines.  I have created my own workout program, that combines a lot of the different moves from several of those programs.  I will fill in my club member clients with that to help speed up those EXTREME results.

Q: What supplements do you use?

A: I currently use Shakeology, P90X Recovery Drink and Beachbody WHEY Protein.  I suggest using these if you wish to see muscular gains.

Q: What P90X Schedule did you follow?

A: I followed CLASSIC.

Q: Do you use heavy or light weights?

A: I began to focus more on bulking up my lean muscle.  I stick to heavier weight at lower reps for all my arm and shoulder exercises.  I try to keep my reps in the 6-8 range.  When it comes to pushups and pullups, I began wearing a weighted vest to increase resistance to help strain the muscles more. I used to rep 50 pushups and 30 pullups EVERY set, but with the weighted vest, my reps have decreased to 15-20 pushups and 12-15 pullups, allowing more tension on my muscles to speed up the bulking process.  If you which to cut and tone more than bulk, then you're going to want to rep EVERYTHING till failure with lighter weight.

Q: Do you use bands or dumbbells?

A: I use dumbbells for everything.  I do not use bands.  I'm not talking bad about bands, they are a great workout too, but I feel the most gains with free weights.  I have adjustable dumbbells that max out at 65lbs each.

Q: Do you workout in the morning or in the evening?

A: When I can, I try to workout in the morning.  Working out in the morning will speed up your metabolism for the rest of the day, helping you keep off that unwanted fat.  There are a lot of days where my mornings are slammed so I have to push my workouts off till the evening, which is still perfectly fine.  I just try not to workout close to bedtime - since workouts will give you quite the energy boost.

MY DIET QUESTIONS:  

Q: Did you follow the P90X Nurtition Guide?

A: Yes, as best as I could.  I joined the Beachbody Club, which was great since it allows me to customize a diet that best fits me - food I like, food I know how to prepare for and food that the whole family will enjoy.  I would strongly suggest becoming a Club Member to help you stay on a diet throughout your journey.

Q: What are some things that you changed to help your results?

A:  I increased my protein!  I know consume about 300g of protein daily, with the help of protein shakes and high protein lean meats - chicken and fish.  With this diet adjustment, I am stacking on the muscle! 

Q: What does your diet look like on a normal day?

A:

Breakfast - 4 egg whites with 1 yolk, 2 pieces of toast, 2 cups of coffee, Shakeology.

Snack - Granola or almonds

Lunch - Tuna sandwich on wheat, protein shake, Wheat Thins

Snack - Granola or almonds or fruit

Dinner - 2 Chicken breasts, vegetable medley

Snack - Wheat Thins

Before Bed - Protein shake, cottage cheese w/ fruit

MY SUPPLEMENT QUESTIONS:

Q: What supplements do you use currently?

A: I currently use Shakeology, P90X Recovery Drink and Beachbody WHEY Protein.  I'm focused on bulking up my lean muscle - throughout this period, I will stick to supplements that will speed muscle development.  I suggest using these if you wish to see muscular gains.

Q: What supplements did you use when you first started P90X?

A: When I first started my P90X journey and through outm y first 90 days, I used Shakeology, P90X Recovery Drink, P90X Protein Bars, Mens' Strength Formula and the Slimming Formula.  I saw great results!

Q: Do you use a pre-workout supplement?

A: Currently, no.  I have tried NO XPLODE and Jack3d.  Both were good for fueling you with a quick boost of energy to maximize your reps throughout your workout.  I find that 2 cups of coffee, non-fat cream and a scoop of natural sweetener works quite well also.  Give that a try!

Q: Do you use a post-workout supplement?

A: Yes.  I will slam back a cold protein shake right after my workout.  I will let that settle and shortly after, I will sip on the P90X Recovery Drink.  Somedays, I will sub my protein shake with a Shakeology refreshment, perhaps mixed with fresh fruit.  I like to spice it up every now and then.

Q: How do you take your supplements throughout the day?

A: Since most of the time, I'm limited to working out in the evening - I will wake up and prepare breakfast and wash it down with Shakeology.  About mid afternoon, I will consume a protein shake (50g of protein).  Before workout, I will brew some coffee to help wake me up.  After workout, I will consume another protein shake (50g of protein) and a P90X Recovery Drink.  Right before bed, depending on what I had for dinner, I might mix up another protein shake (25g of protein).

LIFE AFTER P90X QUESTIONS: 

Q: I just finished P90X, should I redo the program?

A: Yes!  P90X can be done again and again!  The program has countless routines that will always keep your muscles confused and begging for mercy!  Don’t think that P90X is only designed for 90 days – like Tommy Mygrant says “It’s not P90X, its P-lifetime-X!”

Q: Should I continue taking pictures?

A:Yes!  Treat Round 2 or Round 12 the same as Round 1!  Take your before, 30 day, 60 day and 90 day progress pictures!

Q: Should I take time off before I start Round 2 of P90X?

A: Depends on how you feel.  Some people start Round 2 right after that last recovery phase and some take an extra week off to recover even more.  If you start your second round right after the recovery phase, go ahead and jump right back into Day 1.  If you chose to take an extra week off, some people chose to take a week off from everything and some will just mix in a few light cardio workouts to keep the muscles warm.

Q: Can I switch to a different P90X schedule?

A: Yes! Of course!  If you stuck to the Classic Schedule and wish to burn little more body fat next time through P90X, then try switching to the Lean Schedule.  Or visa versa, wish to add more lean muscle, then switch to the Classic Schedule.  If you want to go extreme, then look into the Double Schedule, which combines double the cardio while you get plenty of resistance training!

Q: Can I do the same schedule?

A: Yes!  You can stick to the same schedule as you did the first round.  I completed the Classic schedule my first round and stuck to the same schedule my second and third time through the program!  Keep the results coming!

Q: Can I put P90X away for a little bit and try a different program?

A: Sure!  I know many people who used the P90X program to develop stronger muscles and increase their endurance to work their way up to the Insanity Home Fitness Program.  They used P90X to develop muscle definition and then switched to Insanity after the 90 days to develop a more sculpted body to show off those new muscles!

Q: Can I do another program while I still do P90X?

A: Yes!  Although, this isn’t a walk in the park!  Most commonly used program to hybrid with the P90X program is Insanity!  Myself included follows a hybrid schedule with P90X and Insanity.  I basically use the intense cardio of Insanity and combine that with the resistance training of P90X – to maximize my results!  Click here to add Insanity to your P90X workouts!

Q: Do I need to stay on the harsh P90X diet during my second round too?

A: Do you want extreme results?  Do you want to see the most of your possible transformation?  Then yes!  Trust me, after 90 days and seeing your body transform, you’ll want to eat healthier!

 Q: Should I consider becoming a coach when I finish P90X?

Yes!
